How We Make a Difference

Our Program

Old Age Pension Program

Through this program, we provide a monthly pension of Rs. 500/- to approximately 30 elderly individuals. Initiated in 2022, this program directly impacts the lives of these senior citizens. The program was launched in response to numerous elderly individuals sharing their stories about being unable to afford essential medicines. Consequently, we introduced this initiative to ensure they have access to necessary medications.

Employment Generation Program

This women empowerment initiative focuses on providing opportunities to skilled women who lack employment prospects. Our NGO supports these women by offering facilities and resources to prepare traditional sweets and snacks from Karnataka at home, which they then package for sale. We have named this initiative Mothers Recipe. It not only serves as a livelihood for these women but also provides hygienic, homemade sweets to customers at very reasonable prices. As a charitable endeavor, this program has brought happiness to many households in Bijapur.

Girl Child Education Support Program

This program focuses on providing access to education for girls, especially in underprivileged communities, to promote gender equality and empower them for a better future. The program may include scholarships, school supplies, mentorship, and awareness campaigns to encourage families to prioritize the education of girl children. To support girl child education, we conducted a felicitation program at Iqra School, Bijapur where awards were distributed to girls who performed exceptionally well in academics.

Walker to Elderly Person in Need

On 12th October 2024, our NGO encountered an elderly person struggling to walk with a makeshift stick from a fallen tree branch. Realizing his difficulty, we immediately provided him with a walker to assist in his mobility. This small gesture greatly improved his ability to walk and ensured his comfort and safety. Our organization remains committed to supporting those in need within the community.

Cleanliness Drives

On March 22, 2024, we conducted a cleanliness drive in Bijapur. Guided by the Islamic belief that cleanliness is half of faith and inspired by Mahatma Gandhi promotion of a clean environment, we aim to tackle the challenges posed by an unhealthy environment. To address this issue, we believe in raising awareness among the masses. In this regard, our NGO, in collaboration with SECAB IET, Bijapur, organized the cleanliness drive.

Causes

Food Kits Distribution Event

This program is conducted twice a year during the holy month of Ramadan and the festival of Deepavali. Our goal is to bring happiness to those who cannot afford costly food items, enabling them to share in the joy of these special occasions. We provide food kits to more than 200 families annually and plan to increase this number to reach even more families in the future.

Teachers Felicitation Program

Recognizing the crucial role teachers play in shaping the future of our nation, we organized a program to honor their efforts and dedication on Teachers Day, September 5, 2023. Held at the Iqra School Campus, we felicitated various teachers from different schools and colleges.
